Erika Lefkowitz considers herself a native New Yorker despite having moved Palm Beach County, Florida at 10 years old. She graduated from Palm Beach Gardens High School and attended college at Palm Beach Community College (now Palm Beach State), Florida State University (GO NOLES!), and Florida Atlantic University (GO Owls!). Throughout college the plan was to become a teacher, however that wasn’t her calling. She often touted that she would never “push paper or crunch numbers”, yet when a friend got her a job in the mortgage industry, Erika was home. Working her way from Input Clerk up to Quality Control Underwriter, Erika made herself a fulfilling career helping customers live the American dream of homeownership. Temporarily retiring in 2005 to start a family, Erika moved to Colorado in 2007 and is now part of the CORE family.
Personally, Erika is happily married to Jason and is the mother to middle schooler, Josh. When she’s not cheering Josh on at one of his many sporting or academic activities, she’s volunteering her time. Erika has over 15 years of national service to Theta Phi Alpha Fraternity, has served on the Board of Directors for a group home for developmentally disabled adults, has participated in the PTO and Accountability Committees at school, and has been both the Team and Club Mom for Colorado Khaos Youth Baseball.
